Placa bacteriana entre estudiantes rurales y urbanos [Bacterial plaque among rural and urban students]

Resumen

Objetivo: analizar el índice de placa bacteriana entre estudiantes rurales y urbanos. Método: Descriptiva observacional. Resultados y Conclusión: El análisis de la higiene oral en contextos rurales y urbanos reveló diferencias significativas: en el ámbito rural, las mujeres presentaron un 33,33% de placa bacteriana aceptable, cuestionable y deficiente por igual, mientras que los hombres alcanzaron un 67% de niveles aceptables, aunque un 25% mostró deficiencias, lo que evidencia una falta de intervenciones educativas específicas. En el contexto urbano, las niñas lograron un 39,1% de placa aceptable, pero un 33,56% presentó niveles deficientes, mientras que los niños alcanzaron un 40% de niveles aceptables, con un 30% en niveles cuestionables y deficientes.
