Objective: to describe the importance of cervical cancer prevention in women aged 12 to 45 years. Method: PRISMA systematic review of 15 scientific articles. Results and conclusion: Prevention of cervical cancer in women aged 12-45 years requires a comprehensive evidence-based approach that combines primary prevention strategies, such as HPV immunisation, with secondary prevention measures through regular high-sensitivity screening, such as cervicovaginal cytology and HPV-DNA testing.
