Errata, corrections and retractions policy

Articles published in Sanitas. Revista Arbitrada de Ciencias de la Salud, will be kept current, accurate and unalterable as far as possible. However, exceptional events may occur where correction, retraction or deletion of an already published manuscript may be required. This event will be dealt with by the journal's editorial team with prudence in order to preserve the ethics of the entities involved, and to this end, the rules recommended by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) will be used.
In these cases, the system of standards and control mechanisms for scientific communication has several main rectification procedures according to the type, seriousness and consequences of the inaccuracy detected. These may take the form of a notice of erratum or correction, a retraction and, in rare cases, the deletion of the article. The purpose of this mechanism is to make changes transparent and always ensure the integrity of the academic record.
Errata
An errata notice will be issued when it is necessary to correct an error or omission made by the journal after publication that may affect the publication record or the reputation of the authorship or the journal, but where the scholarly integrity of the article remains intact.
All errors will be accompanied by a separate notice. The notice should provide clear details of the error and the changes that have been made to the paper.
In these circumstances:
1. The article will be corrected.
2.    An endnote will be added to the article with a reference to the erratum notice.
3. A separate erratum or corrigendum notice linked to the corrected version will be published.
4.    The erratum or corrigendum document shall be paginated and with DOI.
