Objective: to analyse the frequency of dental demineralisation in patients undergoing orthodontic treatment. Method: descriptive observational study in 30 patients. Results and Conclusion: Dental demineralisation was found to be a frequent complication in patients undergoing orthodontic treatment, affecting 70% of the population evaluated. This finding highlights the importance of implementing effective preventive strategies to reduce its incidence, such as strengthening oral hygiene and the use of remineralising agents.
