Abstract

Objective: to perform a comparative analysis of the physicochemical reaction of temporary crowns versus bisacryl resin. Method: Systematic review. Results and Conclusion: The comparative analysis of the physicochemical properties between temporary crowns and bisacrylic resins shows that the latter have significant advantages in terms of marginal adaptation, mechanical strength, colour stability, radiopacity and aesthetics, which positions them as a superior option for medium-term temporary restorations or in aesthetically demanding areas.
