Abstract

Objective: to analyse dental care in children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities. Method: systematic review. Results and Conclusion: The implementation of personalised strategies, such as sensory adaptation of the clinical environment and specific protocols for conditions such as ASD, Down syndrome and other disabilities, has proven to be fundamental in improving patient cooperation and reducing negative responses associated with treatment.
