Abstract

Objective: To carry out a comparative study between sealapex and AH plus sealing cements. Method: PRISMA systematic review of 16 scientific articles. Results and Conclusion: The choice between Sealapex and AH Plus should be based on the specific needs of each clinical case, considering their chemical, biological and mechanical properties. Sealapex, with its calcium hydroxide-based composition, offers high antimicrobial activity and biocompatibility, making it ideal in cases with periapical lesions where tissue regeneration is a priority. AH Plus, on the other hand, stands out for its excellent apical sealing capacity and dimensional stability, consolidating itself as a reliable option in treatments that demand durability and precision.
