Consecuencias dentales por ingesta excesiva de alimentos procesados en niños de 10 a 12 años [Dental consequences of excessive intake of processed foods in children aged 10 to 12 years old]

Resumen

Objetivo: analizar las consecuencias dentales por ingesta excesiva de alimentos procesados en niños de 10 a 12 años. Método: descriptiva observacional en 86 participantes. Resultados y Conclusión: En términos generales, el 98.8% de los padres reconoce que los alimentos procesados impactan la salud, lo que refleja una percepción significativa sobre sus efectos perjudiciales. Sin embargo, solo el 41.9% cree que los programas educativos podrían ser efectivos para reducir el consumo de estos alimentos, mientras que un 48.8% mostró incertidumbre sobre su impacto.
