Open access policy

  1. The content published in Cuaderno de odontología. Revista científica, is freely accessible, based on the principle of making scientific knowledge available to the public free of charge, with the intention of promoting exchange with peers, as well as the international socialization of research results.
  2. Cuaderno de odontología. Revista científica, adheres to open access policies, following the guidelines of the following declarations: Budapest (BOAI, 2002), Berlin (2003) and Bethesda (2003). In this way, any user with internet access can access the journal for the purpose of reading, researching, copying, distributing, printing, downloading the published articles, with only the adequate citation of the material being requested, in preservation of the intellectual rights of the authors.
  3. The author or authors retain the copyright, and it is the responsibility of the journal to evaluate and publish the content for dissemination for reuse, provided that it is cited, credited, and not used commercially, which encourages and allows reuse under the Creative Commons 4.0 license of Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4. 0, which means that they can be copied, used, disseminated, transmitted and publicly displayed. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/
  4. Authors must sign the “Authorization Letter for Publication and Distribution,” which is available.
  5. Readers' rights: Readers have the right to read all articles free of charge once they have been published, and may reuse material from the articles, provided the work is cited.
  6. No charges for processing or publication of articles. No APC charges.
  7. The journal has signed the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), adhering to its principles in the promotion of good editorial practices.
